Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games started on Wednesday, and even though I don’t have any tickets to any events, my partner and I went today, to have a look around. I worked till about 3, and then we took the train to another part of Melbourne, and got to look around at what’s going on. My partner of course, bought some Commonwealth “gear” I refrained from doing so. I saw some great stuff, but nothing that I had to absolutely have. ::smirks::

It’s interesting from my persepective, to watch a huge sportings event, that doesn’t include the States. I like it, but it’s just weird not ever hearing the Star Spangled Banner playing during the medals ceremony..lol
